Bosch Security Systems Product Recall
Bosch Security Systems Inc., a section of German conglomerate Robert Bosch GmbH, have decided to recall around 330 fire alarm system control panels, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission have said.
According to the findings from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, if the alarm verification feature of the system is turned on, the control panel can fail to sound an alarm if a fire occurs. Delays in reporting a fire were also possible with systems involving 50 or more reporting stations.
Bosch, a privately held engineering group, is the world's largest car-parts marker. Its U.S. business includes consumer power tools, auto parts, and industrial and building technologies.
