Takeaway Owner Fined For Five Breaches of the RRO (Fire Safety) Order 2005
Man Fined Nearly £12,000 For Five Breaches of the Regulatory Reform Order (RRO) in Eastleigh
A takeaway owner in Eastleigh, Hampshire near Southampton has been ordered to pay nearly £12,000 for five seperate breaches of the Regulatory Reform Order of 2005.
At Southampton Magistrates Court on 1st September 2011 the owner of the property Mr Anik, pleaded guilty to breaching a prohibition order by allowing sleeping in accomodation above his premises. In addition to this he also pleaded guilty to having no suitable means of giving a warning in case of fire, inadequate protection to means of escape, inadequate provision of emergency lighting and failure to maintain resisting seperation between the ground floor and first floor.
Mr Anik was fined an initial £3,300 for breaching the prohibition order and allowing sleeping accomodation above his premises and a further £2,100 for each of the remaining four offences.
Mick Crennell of the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service who is the area manager made the following comments:-
"We will continue to protect our communities through a robust risk management process that identifies the areas of highest risk and takes necessary steps to ensure their continued safety.
"Prohibition orders are only issued in the most severe circumstances, to prevent a risk of death or serious injury in the event of a fire; breaching these orders can have very serious consequences."

Really good panel to use and program. Can be programmed directly at the panel without needing to use a laptop. Would definately recommend this panel.
