Overview

The Syrex IS Beacon is an intrinsically safe beacon fitted with 6 high intensity LEDs and a prismatic lens for effective visual warning in hazardous area applications.

The Syrex IS Beacon needs to be used with a suitable zener barrier whose output parameters do not exceed Vo 28V DC, Io 93mA, Po 660mW or from any galvanic isolator specified by the system certificates.

The IS Beacon can be used independently or fitted with a sounder to form a sounder beacon combination (see separate datasheet). These units can utilise a common zener barrier or galvanic isolator. Beacons are available in red, amber, blue and green (please call if you require a different beacon colour to red).
