The Notifier Beacon Base Unit with Isolator ABB/W/C-I is an Addressable Fire Alarm Base Beacon unit that is specifically designed to be used on Notifier Protocol Fire Alarm Systems. This unit is designed to be installed onto the ceiling of a room with a detector to give a detector and a beacon in a single point.
The Notifier Beacon Base unit ABB/W/C-I is designed to be compatible with the Notifier range of Analogue Addressable Detectors including the SDX-751EM and the FDX-551EM.
Using the Notifier LPBW (Not included - see related products) first fix connection base, an electronics free first fix can be achieved allowing loop cable high voltage testing. A continuity spring link is provided to allow through connection when the device is not in situ facilitating loop testing, which automatically resets open when a device is inserted.
The Notifier LPBW connection plate has mounting centres for standard electrical boxes and includes screw terminals for field wiring. Deep adaptor and waterproof deep adaptors allow the units to be surface mounted and placed in external locations if required. The adaptor units are supplied complete with the Notifier LPBW connection plate.
An anti-tamper lock is standard and requires activation in order to comply with EN54 Pt.3. This is achieved by removing a small notch in the housing of each unit and further removal of the device requires the insertion of a small bladed screw driver though this hole. Two rotary switches set one of ninety nine available address settings.
Please Note : The Notifier ABB/W/C-I unit has now been discontiued and replaced by the Notifier NFXI-BF-WC which can be used as a replacement.
