Designed in Britain and manufactured in Malaysia, The Fire Beam has been specifically created to overcome the problems normally associated with optical beam smoke detection, which in the past have made this type of smoke detection unreliable and difficult to maintain.

Optical beam smoke detection is a very cost effective method of protecting large areas, especially using reflective technology that only requires wiring to one end. But the reliability of products has up until now seen a move away from beams toward other more expensive methods of detection.

So what makes The Fire Beam Different?

Two main attributes stand The Fire Beam out from the crowd, a motorised beam head that continually self aligns, and a low level controller from which all major functions can be performed.

 

The standard Fire Beam package comes complete with the head unit, the low level controller, a single reflector, a user manual, a test filter and a 3mm allen key. This will enable you to cover distances between 5 and 40 metres.
