The fire alarm sounders in this range are specifically designed for use on conventional fire alarm sounder circuits. Typically these types of fire alarm sounder circuits are run directly from a fire alarm control panel and have an resistor at the end of the circuit to comply with fire alarm sounder circuit monitoring regulations.
