The STI 6255 Mini Theft Stopper with the provided "stop sign" discourages pranksters and thieves, and protects from theft, vandalism and misuse of free-standing and cabinet mounted fire extinguishers or other fire fighting equipment.
 
The Mini Theft Stopper is compact and highly reliable but cost-effective and easy to use.
 
 
There are two methods of activation available:
 
1. Free-standing fire extinguisher or equipment:

The special steel clip can be used in two ways. It can be placed under any type of equipment. Then the sounder emits a piercing alarm when this equipment is lifted. Or an extinguisher's pull pin is routed through the holes of the clip, hold in place by the seal. The alarm sounds when this seal is broken while using the extinguisher.
 
2. Cabinet mounted fire fighting equipment:
 
A reed switch unit is mounted in the door jam and the corresponding magnet is mounted on the door close to it. Opening the door will emit a piercing alarm.
