The Safety Centre Supply, Install and Commission Wireless Fire Alarm System in London Church

Wireless Fire Alarm System now protecting Islington Church

The Safety Centre have recently supplied, installed and commissioned a state of the art Wireless Fire Alarm System in St Giles Christian Mission in Islington, London.

St Giles Christian Mission

St Giles Christian Mission is 150 years old, and has a great history of welcoming people through their doors.

The brief from the Mission to The Safety Centre was to provide a fire alarm system that could be installed quickly and would also offer them flexibility in the future for further alterations to the Mission as refurbishment works progress in the future.  Minimising building works and disruption to the operation of the church during the installation period were also a concern to the committee of the church.  A wireless fire alarm system was the ideal solution to meet the clients brief as the installation time is greatly reduced over a hard wired alternative.  A wireless fire alarm system is also highly flexible in that the devices can easily be removed and re-positioned as the bases for the devices are secured by two screws.

Following a successful site survey to access the wireless signal strengths throughout the building, the entire installation and commission was completed in 3 days and left the church protected with an automatic fire detection system.  The church now have a fully functioning high performance fire alarm system which will provide them with a high level fire safety for years to come.
