Yuasa Batteries Now Sponsoring The Honda Racing Team

As one of the leading manufacturers of batteries in the world, Yuasa Batteries have announced that they are sponsoring the Honda 2011 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) Team.  This follows on from the 2010 touring car championship where Yuasa also sponsored the Honda team.

 

The new look car design featuring the Yuasa logos was unveiled at Silverstone in March and seen for the first time in action at Brands Hatch on the 3rd and 4th of April.

Aswell as being a sponsor for the Honda Racing Team, Yuasa batteries are also used in many of the vehicles which Honda manufacture.  Showing that the Yuasa and Honda connection is a perfect partnership both on and off the track.

Yuasa Batteries have an outstanding reputation for manufacturing automotive batteries aswell as sealed lead acid batteries for both cyclic and standby use.

Yuasa were founded in Japan in 1977 and produced their first battery in 1979.  Since then after several mergers and expansions Yuasa have gone from strength to strength.  They are currently the number one supplier of batteries to the powersports industry.  Supplying 7 out of the 8 original equipment manufacturers in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
