Electro Detectors BS8629 RadEvac EACIE Wireless Evacuation Control Panel - 20 Floor Version - EDA-RE20

With the need to evacuate properties safely, in the event of a fire, and the recent introduction of BS8629 Electro Detectors have developed the RadEvac Site evacuation system.

The control panel, accessible only to the Fire & Rescue Service and for maintenance purposes, is housed in a vandal proof enclosure meeting STS205 Class BR2. Flexible enough to enable any evacuation strategy chosen by the Fire & Rescue Service, operation of the appropriate toggle switch will activate sounders on the corresponding floor of the building. Slide in labels allow simple and clear labelling of activation switches.

The panel is available in 10, 20, 30 & 40 floor versions, the system utilises the already popular and fully certified wireless Zerio Plus system to distribute sounders over multiple floors.

The benifits of the radio system are huge; speedy installation, no decoration, no fire stopping and only minor disruption to occupants.  Creating little or no mess, sounder may be fitted within flats in mere minutes.

Setting up the system could not be simpler.  The control panel programming options and display are hidden behind the keyswitch plate and accessed by removing two screws.  Each device is assigned to a flat and floor whilst being added to the system.  When any switch is operated a radio message is transmitted to all devices on the appropriate floor to implement evacuation as required.  When testing, sounders may be activated individually or in groups.
