Wireless Acoustic Door Retainer Magnet - Battery Powered - Wall Mounted
This product is ideal for use in buildings within the UK. It is an acoustically operated battery powered door magnet / retainer unit. It is designed to release the magnet when the sensor within the device detectors the sound of the fire alarm system sounders.
This product is ideal for retro fit installations as no cables need to be installed from the door detent to the fire alarm system. It uses 2 x C Cell type batteries which provide upto 12 months operation. When the batteries in the device are getting low the door detent unit will provide a low battery indication warning.
The device is designed to be mounted behind the door at either floor level or at the top of the door. This means that the unit can be mounted away from areas where it may be damaged.
The device is intelligent so that it can be matched to the sound of the fire alarm system. This is advantageous as it means that it will not operate to the sound of other equipment / activities in the building.
