Fire Alarm Sounders & Beacons

Alarm sounders are crucial – when a fire breaks out, a detector sends a signal to the sounder which then warns everyone in the building of the danger audibly. A beacon warns people in the building of the danger visually – it’s important to have both sounders & beacons, or a combined fire alarm sounder beacon. This is because the hearing impaired won’t be able to notice that an alarm is going off if you just have sounders, leading to potentially fatal injuries. This same logic is applied to the visually impaired as they won’t be able to know an alarm has been triggered if you just have flashing beacons – you need both.

Electronic Fire Alarm Sounder

These sounders are 24V DC type, and ideal for use on conventional sounder circuits or with sounder circuit controller interface modules.  They are available in a variety of colour options, and also in combined sounder and beacon variants.
