Consilium Salwico IR Flame Detector Test Lamp
The Salwico IR test lamp is used to perform function test on Salwico IR flame detectors.
The included extension rod makes it easy to test detectors in different locations.
Detector Test
There are two ways to test the detector:-
(a) Press the Salwico IR test lamp against the detector until the trigger switch initiate test procedure with an intermittent buzzer sound. After about 15-30 seconds, check if the detector has reacted to the test.
(b) Activate "continuous test mode" by setting the switch on top of the test lamp to "ON". This mode will initiate buzzer sound. Hold the Salwico IR test lamp close to the detector so the distance between the test lamp and the detector is within 5 cm. If the detector reacts within 30 seconds under this condition, the detector is functional.
