The DORMA TS93EMF Electromagnetic Hold Open Guide Rail Door Closer is a surface mounted cam action door closer with electromagnetic guide rail arm suitable for doors up to 1250mm. It is designed to hold the door open during normal use and is connected to the building fire alarm or smoke detection system, so that when the fire alarm is activated (or there is a power failure); the electromagnet is deactivated and the door closes in the normal controlled manner. As a very heavy duty door closer, the variable power size can be adjusted to suit larger doors up to 100kg.
